Weak Defenses.
The following response by some has a racial position. Some of
my Guyanese Muslim relatives are equipped with this defense:
The Bible is a white man's Bible. They even
say that the Bible is corrupt because it was written by the
white man. This defense is based on
ignorance and mistrust of the white man (as far as the Bible is concerned). Along
with this argument is one biased in terms of language. They
claim that the Qur'an was written in Arabic, but the Bible
is in English and therefore it is not from God.
These defenses carry no weight and are based on ignorance
and a biased mindset. They score no point for Islam and are
weak ways of refusing to seek out the truth. God is no
respecter of persons. The white man, as well as all other
races, will have to appear before Him to be judged. The
language of the Judge will be in love. Lord Jesus, in His great wisdom and love, will not
communicate to the hearer in a language he or she cannot
understand. Praise God for His manifold wisdom. The
Guyanese person who is not versed in English, Arabic,
Spanish, etc. will be able to answer in his or her local dialect.
They do this before earthly judges and the earthly
judgment does not require an interpreter, because the
judge and the one being judged knows the local dialect.
Example: Judge, "Guilty or not guilty?"
Defendant: "Me na guilty yuh honaa."
Now, I know some of you will protest that you can't find
this teaching in the Bible. You may have to dig deeper
for this one. It's there, but not exactly like this.
Let me say this about experience, it teaches you somethings
about God that you cannot get just by reading. I can talk
to Jesus my Lord in Guyanese broken English now, and He
will answer me. He will not tell me I have to speak grammatically
correct English, Hebrew, Greek, Latin or Arabic. Jesus knows
all languages, even rap language, and He uses them if he has
to. I love you, Jesus. Me love yuh Lord Jesus. Me love yuh a
lat.
All A One God.
I hope I am helping some of you to get a life with God,
and to live a life with God. While I am at it, let me
not keep back these things that could help you in your
life with God.
More than once, I was blocked from telling more about
Jesus, with these words, "All a one God." The hearer was saying in other words, " You don't have a different God, or there is
no difference between all the gods." In this defense the
hearer is acknowledging my God, Jesus Christ, as God, but
conditionally. The condition is that Jesus can only be God
as long as He is the same as every other god. A variation
of this stance is "All religion a just different ways to
serve the same God." Yet, when those who hold this defense
are required to make certain choices, they choose their
god above every other god. An example is, when faced to choose
a marriage partner of another religion, they rather stop
dating, break off engagements, and divorce if already
married. Their relatives also join them and encourage
them to do these things. It is no more "All a one God."
